Really!?! It's Over!

Um, wow.

So yesterday was an eventful day here at Synful Ramblings. I guess I have to thank a website (which I won't post because I don't want to send any traffic there) for posting a link to my blog below titled Why the Girl-on-Girl Crime?. Though I'm a bit frightened by the delightfully rude posters it brought to the blog. And it really is quite rude to go into someone's virtual "home" and post some of the things that you posted. But it only proves my point about the girl-on-girl crime. Based on names alone, most of you who posted these nasty comments were female. So I guess I should thank you also for proving my point. Maybe I would just have to be a woman to understand the deep-seated hatred that you people have for Danielle. Someone who you will likely never meet in your life, with the exception of "Megan" who clearly has some sort of personal vendetta against the woman.

You all do realize that Big Brother Season 14 is over right? I watched the finale, so I know it's over, so I was wondering where you people might have been. Just so you know, the finale occurred September 19th at 830p Central Time on your local CBS station. In case you missed it, here's a link to Part 1. Watch it, it's a pretty good episode. Spoiler Alert, the object of your hatred doesn't win, so you can rest easy that it will end badly for you. She doesn't even get America's Favorite, so seriously, you won't be upset over it.

By the way, you've likely noticed that Blog Comments have been disabled. I will not allow my blog to become a platform for your hatred. My true friends know how to reach me should they want to share a comment with me about whatever I may post in the future. I attempted comment moderation, but my inbox quickly filled up with hate comments just waiting to be published.

Next, I want to give Melinda Murphree a chance to speak, because I would hate for her 2nd post about her daughter's experience on Big Brother to be deleted because of "haters" (yes I called you people that again, omg).

Yes, thank you for shedding light within a very dark underworld. Danielle is doing fine, naturally she has moments that breaks ones heart. Regarding mention of her support system -- she has the best one can offer. To the folks that may not like her play but are still kind, thank you!! I did have the feeds; logged over 100 hours I believe. I am not attempting to defend all of her conversations as it isn't realistic. However I have seen multiple posts regarding China, the gypsies, etc. Danielle was involved with the People to People Student Ambassador program to China her junior high school year. As well, during another travel venture her Home Ec teacher told her to straighten up or she would sell her to the gypsies while in Italy. Didn't see the feed on this just a memory. Also, my mother is a member of Mensa (sorry mom!) and her father -- Danielles great grandfather was a chemist. He in fact invented the formula for soap now used within laundry detergent. Lastly, we live on a bluff (yes she is a true country girl :)) and our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Ringo, saved her from a sure incident when she was a mere toddler. My first post was preseason .. and now my 2nd post. But who really cares about any of this info anyway???? Danielle, if you ever see this you are my rock! Love, Mom

Melinda, and I have to assume that you are who you really are because I have no choice really. And that's cool with me. But in the world of the internet you can never be 100% certain that you are talking to who your are really talking to. Anyhow, I am truly honored that you chose my blog as a place to post your thoughts about this. It's clear that you love and support your daughter, and I am certain that Danielle will be absolutely fine. She had a terrific summer, and though she didn't win the grand prize or even 2nd place, she is one of four people so far who can say that she spent an entire season of Big Brother in the Big Brother House despite not winning. She joins the ranks of Adam Poch, Enzo Palumbo, and Kevin Campbell. That is a huge accomplishment and she can walk away with an experience of a lifetime. Now, please take my advice, and please stop reading internet posts about Big Brother and/or your daughter. I have learned this season, that Big Brother is better enjoyed with true friends, than it is with Big Brother communities. The hate runs rampant in these groups, and it's truly not something that one person has the power to stop. There aren't enough mods in most communities to put out those fires. And the only option for a blog writer like myself is to disable comments completely. There aren't many people that have the credibility to do that, so the hate continues. That cycle, at least in my little corner of the internet stops here. Nothing healthy will come of the vast majority of Big Brother communities, including SuperPass. Spicy was a complete and utter bitch (Hater's take note, I called someone a bitch, but I am not perfect and don't claim to be, but that doesn't mean I'm going to decimate Spicy's life for the public to criticize and salivate over while forming the line to rip her apart.) during the backyard interviews that played on SuperPass. She deliberately tried to hurt Danielle with her not-so-clever but oh-so-obvious questions. So again I say, SuperPass is not a safe place. I would stick to CBS only, and even then I would be extremely cautious because Allison Grodner Productions really did nothing to try to dial back the hate, and the edits even fueled some of it. Again thank you for stopping by my modest virtual "home". Please know that I am wishing only good things for you and your daughter's future.

Also a special thanks to Tiffany Yeung regarding my "bravery" to speak up against the haters. I don't really consider it bravery, just trying to do the right thing.

To the posters who mentioned my use of the word "crime" in the previous blog. This was not meant to be crime in the literal sense of the word. In fact I think I ripped the line from the movie "Mean Girls". Ironic right? I wasn't trying to insinuate that you could be prosecuted for your hate speech, but you should be ashamed. Though I do think the stalkerish tendencies displayed by some of the "haters" that I personally witnessed could actually be criminal, at least in some states. But I don't have a law degree so I couldn't say with any certainty.

To the poster that said they found it funny that I tried to shame you for "hating" on Danielle, but that I was guilty for "hating" on Chick-Fil-A, Thanks for that laugh. It was really fun trying to decipher how the two correlated. Equating a small group of individuals expressing their hatred of one reality star to a national movement that perpetuated discrimination on a national scale just does not compute. But you did make me laugh, so you get bonus points.

Now, as I’ve mentioned, the game is over. I’m one of those fans who can separate the person from the gamer. The Danielle we saw on the shows and the live feeds was the gamer. The Danielle we see outside of the house and what she does beyond the Game of Big Brother, is the person. I don’t believe that the two are carbon copies of each other. It is absolutely fine if you aren’t one of the people that has the capacity to differentiate the two. But it is not in anyway healthy for you to hold on to this hatred for a character on a reality television show. Danielle does not owe you an apology. She made decisions that were just that, HER decisions. The only people she has to answer to for that are those people she holds close to her and whatever higher power she chooses if any. I do not, and will not, understand the personal hurt feelings that you as a viewer will have. Matt Hoffman made a horrific lie about a medical condition that his wife had and blatantly used that to hopefully win the game and prize money. Yet, he didn’t get pages and pages and posts and posts professing the author’s hatred and personal injury because of it. But, Matt Hoffman is a man. And still it seems that some women can only make themselves feel better by tearing down other women.

Thank you for your attention. I fully expect that my little blog will quickly be returned to less than 5 page views a day, but for one day in 2012, I reached over 1,400 page views during that 24 hours, so I guess that’s pretty cool. Now that you no longer have a place to voice your hatred here, please find another place, or better yet, heal, and get over it. Enjoy your life. And perhaps skip Big Brother next season. Best wishes to you all.

Disclaimer: Though I live in Alabama, I have never been to Tuscaloosa and do not personally know Danielle or anyone in her family, nor do I believe I will ever meet her.

Why the Girl-On-Girl Crime?

When AGP began formulating this fourteenth season of Big Brother, complete with four controversial former players, I bet they never imagined that the most talked about contestant would be a “Southern Belle” from Alabama. But just visit any Big Brother Blog, Website, Facebook Group, and you will likely see a growing pattern of post after post dedicated to Danielle Murphree. It doesn’t just stop there either, AGP themselves have cashed in on it with their “stalker” innuendo delivered by the Zingbot. And if you thought you could expect the same type of generally unbiased commentary that we’ve had in season’s past on the live SuperPass shows, think again. Missy, Ellen, and Spicy have all boarded the Danielle HateExpress.

The other pattern, which is unfortunately extremely prominent, is that these posts are dedicated to the poster’s hatred for her. It’s not just hatred it’s a combination of every word used to define hate wrapped into one.

Hate  [heyt]
Part of Speech: noun
Definition: extreme dislike
Synonyms: abhorrence, abomination, anathema, animosity, animus, antagonism, antipathy, aversion, black beast, bother, bugbear, bĂȘte noire, detestation, disgust, enmity, execration, frost*, grievance, gripe, hatred, horror, hostility, ill will, irritant, loathing, malevolence, malignity, mislike, nasty look, no love lost, nuisance, objection, odium, pain, rancor, rankling, repugnance, repulsion, resentment, revenge, revulsion, scorn, spite, trouble, venom
Notes: hate means to 'dislike intensely, loathe' and despise means 'look down on contemptuously'

When I read this definition, I can think of very few people I’ve encountered in my life that I would attribute this word to. And I certainly couldn’t attribute it to a contestant on a reality television show that I will likely never ever meet. But this hasn’t stopped “haters” from pouring out in droves to voice their extreme hatred towards Danielle. And what has completely baffled me is that a very high percentage of these people have been women. Women banding together with other women to collectively hate another woman.

The things I have read have been terrible. She’s been called a bunny-boiler. Delusional. Stalker. Vain. Liar. The Zingbot said Shane was going to get a restraining order against her. For someone who is supposedly being the stalkee, he certainly isn’t doing anything to send her a clear message that he’s not interested. That kiss after the first endurance comp of the season comes to mind. She’s been called a predator, social misfit, and human miscreant. She’s been disparaged for her weight and called fat. And I say this, if Danielle is fat, I’d love to see the funhouse mirrors that these people picking Danielle apart have in their homes.

As a man, how am I ever supposed to learn that it’s not okay to talk about a woman’s body size, her looks, her actions, her words, if everywhere I turn I read things that contradict that? Thankfully I grew up with a Mother and Father who instilled these values in me. But I worry about the ones who didn’t.

In a time where we have NOH8 and “It get’s better” campaigns, and celebrities speaking out against bullying, it’s astonishing to see that at least when it comes to some Big Brother fans, we have learned nothing. These monsters continue to sit behind their computer screens and perpetuate this hateful behavior. It seems to me that no amount of children hanging themselves in their closets because they would rather face death than the bullies at schools can reach them. No amount of teenage girls starving themselves to be thin can reach them? What about the ones that cut themselves privately in their bathrooms as a way to cope with the emotional pain that they are feeling? I know, these examples seem extreme, but are they? These children did these things because they were being bullied. What’s the difference?

There’s this excuse being bandied about that Danielle signed up for this when she agreed to go on a reality television show. And to this I say, “Really?” She signed up to have her personal life before the show to be spread out across the internet and dissected? She signed up for someone to post her Grandfather’s obituary online to prove that she doesn’t have a biological sister, ignoring the fact that she herself has said numerous times on the live feeds that this is her God-Sister? She signed up to have her body and weight scrutinized to the minute details of how long she spent in front of the mirror?

I was completely awestruck when I engaged someone on the topic of Danielle the other day to find that they were so annoyed with her looking at herself in the mirror for over an hour while she applied makeup. Annoyed? When there is typically another feed option that you could switch to, or even a commodity to a BB Superfan, and actually turn the feeds off and get something productive done for a change. But not only do people sit there and let themselves get annoyed with what she’s doing, but then take time out of their lives to post about it and analyze every single move she makes, from who she sits next to, to what face she makes to herself in the numerous mirrors in the house. And that only opens the door for more people to flock to the post and share their thoughts and opinions in support of this bullying. And don’t dare to be one of the few brave people that stand up and call this bullying what it is. Because then these monsters focus their attention on you. Some Facebook group admins would rather turn a blind eye to it rather than confront it head on. Some blog runners have adopted the mindset “If you can’t beat them join them.” And these attitudes only perpetuate the bullying.

At the beginning of this post I asked “Why?” Is it because of some kind of jealousy? Danielle is a very attractive female and in great shape. Is she that much of a threat to these people who will never meet her? As I’ve heard, there’s a lack of “eye candy” in the house this season, so are people mad that Danielle gravitated towards Shane? She’s 23 years old. I didn’t know who I was at 23, and I doubt Danielle does now. She’s still obviously trying to get comfortable in her own skin. She’s looking for acceptance from the people in her life, and for these three months, those people are her fellow houseguests. But outside of the house, there are people that are crucifying her for this. And to those people I say, “Shame on you.”

Finally, I will close with this Big Brother thought. Danielle is actually playing the game, and she made a big move, whether it was alliance motivated or not, when she took the power into her own hands and won HOH and the POV and made the choice to remove Janelle, whom she perceived as a threat mind you. When the game gets down to the Jury and the final two, countless BB forums hustle and bustle over wanting the jury to vote on game play. So why then I ask you, does Danielle get all this heat for being human, and someone like Ashley skates through in her Snow White fairytale to the end with only a back injury conspiracy?

Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day ... A National Day for Hate.

I'm just disgusted by this. All the reports of packed restaurants, lines around the building, traffic jams. Some are there to support Free Speech and some are there to protest same sex marriage. But what it boils down to is hate. And it just makes me sad.

I'm a hetero, but I'm pro-happy, as in whatever makes you happy, go for it. And I don't think anyone should stand in the way of that. I'm also a Christian. And I am so sick to death of people hiding behind "their" interpretation of the Bible. The God I know is a loving God. And likely doesn't care at all about a chicken sandwich. But this Dan Cathy says that
"we're inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage. And I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude that thinks we have the audacity to redefine what marriage is all about."
I don't remember a government handing out marriage licenses in the Old Testament. I can't say I know much about the marriage debate, but isn't a big portion of it so that same-sex couples can receive the same benefits as married couples? And let's not forget the track record that man and woman unions have going for them. Why isn't he attacking them for getting divorced? But oh wait ... he is. He says
"We are very much supportive of family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives."
So he's also against divorce. Well what about the woman who married young only to find her new husband is a wife beater. Or that Man married the trophy wife, only to learn that she's been sleeping with his entire office. Or visa versa. I just don't think the God that loves me, would want me to stay in an unhealthy and unhappy situation like that.

I didn't even hear about this Appreciation Day until last night. But I knew I was not going anywhere near Chick-Fil-A today. And likely will not be back there again. And then I read articles about the poor people that work there (some even gay) that are being subjected to ignorant homophobes congratulating them on "hating faggots." Can you imagine yourself as a gay person being told that? I just hate this. These employees were just looking for a job, and it's unfortunate that they have someone like Dan Cathy running the corporation they work for. His words are directly responsible for what happens to his employees. And he should have thought about that.

I'm done with Chick-Fil-A. There are plenty of other establishments that would welcome my dollar whether I had gills and purple skin, or if I was just a normal human. I think I'll go there instead. The only time I ever really got a craving for Chick-Fil-A anyway was on a Sunday.

I won't even get started on the Politician that was fueling this movement.

Toto, There's no place like Home!

Dusting this place off for a fresh new post!

Just wanted to let my modest group of followers know where I'm hanging out this summer. I started following a new Big Brother Blog at the end of last season and it's quickly become my favorite. Enough to bump it up to the top of the list over there on the right ----> for the list of blogs I follow. Though it didn't really get geared up until this season of BB, it's quite entertaining, and has filled in the gaps of a whole lot of the pre-season madness, and offers very observant views of Big Brother as the social experiment it is. If you are looking to know whenever someone rolls over during the night or scratches their armpits, then you might want to check out some of the other blogs out that I have been following to get my updates via twitter and facebook. See my suggestions at the bottom of this post.

But if you ARE looking for a place where there aren't armchair psychologists and armchair attorneys waiting to beat you over the head until you fall into submission if you don't agree with who they like in the house, then this new blog might be the place you can find a safe haven. Like a lighthouse on the rocky shores of a shabby island, it has led my ship to the safe waters.

There are places out there that I had frequented before, but like Dorothy said, "There is no place like home." And while some of these previous places look like The Land of OZ with it's golden brick roads and emerald cities, it becomes evident that it really is just a dream. And those looking for a heart, courage, or brains, may come up empty handed. You can drop some coins in a fountain for the hard work that keeps OZ running that you expect to be shared and distributed to the many that make OZ run, but unfortunately, the coins aren't shared, and The Great Wizard collects them solely. You may spend hours creating things to be used to spruce up OZ, only to have them unused. You may make new items for the OZ store to bring in revenue for the kingdom, maybe silently wishing you could get one as a display of appreciation, only to be left empty handed while the Wizard reaps the rewards. You may sit idly by watching as free feeds are handed out for retweets, and think for certain you'll get some too for trying to help out and fill a gap, only to be disappointed. You may unselfishly spend summers that you would otherwise have off, scouring over every word a houseguest says and sharing with the masses for hours on end, not expecting but maybe wishfully hoping you would get something, anything, in return only to have these wishes squelched like an errant flame. And you might rightfully expect to have the nasty OZites that disparage and blatantly disrespect you exiled to some dingy swampland, afterall there are rules posted against this, only to be disappointed to see that they are welcomed with open arms and even sought out if they go missing for a day. You may think that you’ve made a true friendship only to be disheartened to discover that once the feeds go down, you become useless until the next BB season starts to roll around.

But then you wake up from this nightmare. There is no tornado waiting on the horizon to wipe you off the map. There are no Wicked Witches. And you look around at the familiar faces checking to make sure you are okay and you realize “you were there, and so were you, and you …” And you learn that these people that are surrounding you, that are your true friends, have been there all the time, and they were trapped in the same warped world as you. And you learn that they already have a heart. They already have brains. And they are some of the most courageous friends you could find. In fact the only thing that has changed is that you are in a new place and there is no Wizard masquerading himself as great and powerful. And there is no one bullying you do one thing and not another. And above all, you are free to leave this new place if you want, and even encouraged to visit other corners of the internet to make sure you are up to date on all the Big Brother happenings, because this new place doesn‘t make false promises that it‘s the only place on the internet for reliable Big Brother news. And if you do venture out, you aren’t reprimanded for abandonment and not pledging your loyalty.

So if you have become disenchanted with whatever place you call OZ and would like to try something new, please drop by where I will be spending my summer and say hello. You might be surprised and find some familiar faces there that were also looking for some shelter in the storm. We will just be up to our old Shenanigans again. :D

Remembering ...

It's strange when growing up you hear about those moments in your parents or grandparents past who can say that they remember exactly what they were doing when something happened. Like when JFK was assassinated, or MLK assassinated, or even the day Elvis died.

I never really thought I would see anything like that in my lifetime. The closest to it was when the Challenger exploded during take off. But I was so young then. I barely remember being in 1st Grade or Kindergarten and seeing it on television.

But on September 11th, 2001, I will never forget what I was doing, or how horrific it was. I was sleeping like normal because I worked 2nd shift. After the first tower was hit, my Dad woke me up to watch. We all stood in horror as we saw the second plane hit the other tower. That was when our blood chilled and we knew that this wasn't just some horrible accident.

I was working in Operator Services then as a supervisor over Directory Assistance and Toll Operators. It was 2 days after the attack and communications in and around NYC were still jammed and having trouble. I remember that one operator had an emergency call from one of her callers which required me to take over the call to assist with a request for emergency services. I got on the phone call and it was a Doctor in one of the southern states trying to reach her mother in Manhattan. We could not get the call through for her because we were getting an All Circuits Busy message. And this Doctor actually threatened to bomb one of our offices that was local to her. I knew that she was extremely upset and desperate to get in touch with her mother. So I asked her if she was honestly serious about that threat in an attempt to give her the chance to say that she wasn't. She unfortunately did not and coldly told me that she would do whatever was necessary to speak to her mother. I had no choice but to take her threat seriously and contact the local authorities to report her. And she did unfortunately get into some kind of trouble because her attorney contacted our Human Resources department to speak with me, but the HR department wouldn't allow that. That is one thing that I will never forget about that time either. The lengths people will go to when they are desperate.

These are all the thoughts that come back to me when this anniversary comes around every year.

The face of our nation was forever changed. Humanity across the planet was forever changed.

My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of the 3,000+ who were killed that day. My heart goes out to the countless innocent victims of hate crimes that followed. My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of the limitless soldiers who have lost their lives fighting the resulting wars since the attacks. My heart goes out to everyone touched by this horrific act of evil and terror.

This Brigade. Wow. They are going to need some serious therapy when they get out of the house and realize that throngs of fans aren't going to be throwing thereselves at them.

Noun 1. delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are
delusion, psychotic belief - (psychology) an erroneous belief that is held in the face of evidence to the contrary
megalomania - a psychological state characterized by delusions of grandeur

A quote springs to mind, uttered by the broken Blanche DuBois.

"Whoever you are, I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."

Do they really think they are going to be the next big thing to hit the world. There's so much they want for free. There's so much that they think they deserve. For what? They went on a reality show to win $500K. They didn't do anything Earth-shattering to get to the end. Did they make Rachel and Brendon act like they did? No. All they did was fly under the radar. I'm still not seeing how they've done these amazing things that make them the BEST ALLIANCE in Big Brother History. I just don't understand.

And I also find it quite hilarious right now, with the way Enzo is behaving. He berated Ragan and Britney time and time again for acting the very same way he is acting right now. This is how he has acted after every competition he lost. Which is about 15, by the way. Enzo is SUCH a LOSER in the game of Big Brother.

I'm so glad that this season is almost over. I hope they get rid of the casting people that found this cast and start over.

Could I Care Less?

OMG. BBLand. These last few days have been like watching vultures circle over a struggling bunny rabbit clinging on to the last few minutes of life. The only difference is the HG's playing the role of bunny keep changing. I've lost interest in BB12. There's no one that I'm particularly rooting for.

Matt screwed himself over big time. He's said in both his DR's and to Ragan, that he's being shunned by the people who were his friends (Enzo, Hayden, and Lane). And he KNOWS that they have used him to get them this far and that they are now cutting him loose. So why Matt? Why would you continue to throw Ragan under the bus and share his house knowledge with the Three Stooges? And also, why are you rolling over and dying? For a Diabolical Super Idiot, I mean Genuis, you sure have given up quick. How about exposing the Brigade? Sure, some people might not believe you, but at leave give a chance for the seed of doubt to grow into a fruitful tree. Strike up an alliance with Brendon and Ragan.

Britney, poor little doe eyed Britney. WAKE UP! This is Big Brother. You TRUST NO ONE! Lane is playing you for a fool. He has absolutely no allegiance to you. You were so on to what was really going on after the POV comp. But no, you have to trust your "army" and you will be going to the jury house with a little "Friendly Fire" aimed your way by your "army." They will have you out the first chance they get. There's no reason for them to get rid of Brendon. They stand the best chance of winning if he and one of them is in the final two.

Ragan, stop with the "Inappropriate Zing Bot." It's not funny. And it's a real shame that you didn't believe Kristen until now about the boy's alliance. You pegged it completely. I just fear that it's far too little and far too late. And I'm really concerned how you are going to react once you get out of the house and realize the true depth of Matt's betrayal. It's going to suck for you.

The Three Stooges. Ugh. I'm so over "The Brigade." And the funny thing is, they've gone on and on about how they'll be the only alliance in BB History to make it from beginning to end in a hidden alliance. Well you won't. Joke's on you Boys! When you turned on your own, and booted Matt out of the alliance, then you severed your Brigade Alliance. Yeah, a new one was born with a new name, BG3D (lame), but it won't be the one that last until the end either. Hayden doesn't have an allegiance to either of you Enzo and Lane. He's got Final 2 deals with both of you.

And here's where I get to the point where I really don't care who wins BB12. I'm ready for BB13. This season was a HUGE bust! I'm hoping that AGP does better next season. There needs to be more diversity in the people chosen. These people are all like cookie cutter images of the roles that they were supposed to be.

I don't want to say it, but I'm going to. "I'm so over Big Brother."

How to Survive an ELE (Extinction Level Event):

Ladies and Gents, he's not only a physicist, he's also an expert at survival. Much like the roaches he called his fellow housemates. Brendon Villegas of Big Brother 12 is well versed in the act of survival. An Ice Age, A Nuclear Holocaust, A Massive Asteriod impact, Global Warming, and the Sun Dying don't stand a chance against Brendon. Nothing will bring him down or get him out of the Big Brother house.

This was my absolute worst case scenario. Brendon won the POV today. Matt will go up as the renom, and will be the first houseguest evicted during Thursday's Double Eviction Episode. And no, I don't have to be clairvoyant to forsee this future. The ONLY thing I see that would prevent this from happening would be Chimagate Part Deux. I think that there's about a 20% chance that Ragan will voluntarily exit. Given that he won't be on the block, I'd have no idea how AGP would handle that. That's the only thing I see happening that could possibly save Matt.

Now, given that Matt didn't receive any of the punishments during the POV comp, it's possible that he got greedy and took the prizes. If he did, then he probably deserves to go home because he couldn't have felt safe going into the comp. If he did not get greedy, then Brendon is just a super fast player and took all the punishments himself (The Chum bath, Shaving his Head, and the 24hr Handcuffs). If that's the case, then Matt got a raw deal, and it sucks he'll be leaving, but I'm really not that upset about it. I do hope that his exit speech is explosive and that he exposes the Brigade. But at this point, it would probably be moot because I don't see Brendon, Britney, and Ragan teaming up to get the Brigade out.

I can not respect the Brigade's lack of game play, using Matt to do all the dirty work and save their butts, and then cutting him loose this easily. It's just sucky game play that I have not enjoyed watching play out.

This week is basically planned out and will cease being predictable about 15 mins into the Live Show on Thursday (Almost 5 Full Days from now) when Matt is Evicted and the first HOH of the hour is crowned. Hopefully I'll get lots and lots done. I've got vacation days on Monday and Tuesday, so I may go catch a movie, or go on a day trip somewhere. It's nice having free time during the BB Season. Hmmm, what can I do?

Prove. Me. Wrong. Big. Brother. I. Dare. You.

Thoughts on this week? Sound off below.

Diamonds are a boy's best friend!

Yay! I'm super excited for Big Brother tonight. The look on people's faces when Matt whips out the Diamond Power of Veto is going to be priceless. I've got the same excited feeling that I had when I knew Jeff was going to use his Coup de 'tat.

In a perfect world, I'd love for Matt to choose Enzo as his renom. Enzo is useless in this game. Now I know that Ragan called Rachel a parrot, but if anyone is a parrot, it's gotta be Enzo. He brings nothing productive to competitions or strategy talks. All he does is repeat what the person he's talking to has just said. If I were in that house, he would be the one that drove me most insane. I don't find him funny in the slightest. I switch feeds whenever he's on if there's another option. Sometimes I will turn them off all together. Whenever he's eating he's smacking and it disgusts me. Even when he's NOT eating he makes that smacking noise with his lips when talking about other people and it really gets on my absolute last nerve. Really Enzo? Polly want a cracker? If you are reading this, listen to the next strategy conversation he's a part of. It'll go something like this.

Hayden: We've got to get Britney out.
Enzo: Yo. We gotta get that bitch outta here man.

And yes, he has said that verbatim. But Ragan and Britney are the only ones that spew venom.

But it's not a perfect world, and I think Matt is smart enough to know that if he picks one of the other Brigade members as a his renom, the chances of him winning the whole game are very slim. I really don't want him to renom Britney. I think his safest bet would be Kathy because he wouldn't be pissing anyone off. Then the Brigade stays intact. And his side alliance with Ragan and Britney stay intact. And HOPEFULLY, Brendon will be walking out that door next Thursday.

Britney, Matt, and Ragan definitely have the brains to go far in this game. And we've already had so many physical comps this season. I want the next few comps to be quizzes so those three can dominate the game. Those are my ideal Final 3.

Last night's show was insane. Rachel asked Ragan if his excuse for being so bitchy was because he was gay. Well Rachel, what's your excuse? And she insinuated that he is not a real man either because he's gay. But ... wait for it ... Rachel LOVES her gays! Rachel I have a strong feeling that once you are back in the real world, people of all sexual orientations will not love you. Oh, but I forget. You've had to fight for your survival in the game. No one else in the house has had to fight. No one else has had to rely on their personal game strategies or alliances to stay in the house. Because they aren't fighting. No one else has had to win POV to make sure that they don't get put up as a renom. Right?

But those fights were definitely good TV. It was the third time I had watched the fights, and each time it got better and better. Ragan was awesome at standing his ground and telling Rachel exactly what she didn't want to hear. When you are pushed and pushed and pushed, you get to a point where you break and snap. I think that is what has happened to Ragan. I've done it before. I've gone off on people like Ragan did. Do I regret it? No. NOT. ONE. WORD. But because Ragan reacts the way he has, that makes him vile and full of venom and poison. So I guess that makes me vile and full of venom and poison. Oh well. If you don't like me, that's fine, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Ragan is at a disadvantage because he's on national television. So people feel free to comment about how vile he is because he has human emotions, never once thinking about how people reading the comments may have been in similar situations as Ragan and reacted similarly. So when you are talking about Ragan that way, then you are talking about me, and other people in the world. And people may say I'm being hypocritical because of the way I've talked about Rachel. The difference is, Rachel was playing a character, she wasn't being herself. She was playing a role. To me, that makes her fair game. I am so thrilled that she is gone, and hopefully gone for good.

Enjoy the show tonight! I'm hoping for some major fireworks!

Bright New Day

Hello people.

So yesterday was a vortex of negative energy. From real life negative stresses, to BB negative stresses. I'm determined to make today a better day.

The first step in that consisted of an uninterrupted night's sleep. All was quiet on the hamster front. Gizmo and Brisby got plenty of zzzz's in last night. So that means PapaSyn did too. There was one moment before I went to bed where Gizmo barely went up to Brisby and Brisby freaked out and squeaked a bit. I think he's suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Hopefully that will die down as he realizes that Brutus isn't there anymore. I'm cleaning out their home today to get rid of any traces of Brutus' scent. Hopefully that is when the mental healing will begin. The physical healing has already started. The wound on Brisby's stomach is looking much better, in fact it's not even noticeable any more. It's amazing how the animal instinct tells them exactly what must be done.

The next step consisted of checking the blogs to see what has happened in the BB House. Surprisingly the mood has changed in the house. I browsed the comments, and unfortunately, some people's negative mood has not changed. There is still a crusade to book passengers for the Brendon bus. So that let's me know where I won't be today.

In the BB House, I'm not liking what's going on with the Brigade. They are beginning talks of cannibalizing their own, namely Matt and Lane. I seem to remember them encouraging side alliances, and now that seems to be the downfall of Matt and Lane. I really don't like how they have used Matt to do their dirty work and now they are ready to cut him loose. It sucks, but it's the game. And I never ever thought I would be supporting Matt after his lie. But I guess Matt, Ragan, and Britney have been victims of circumstance and have become the true underdogs of this season. Unfortunately the circumstance comes from outside of the house. So I guess I have my favorites for the season now. Which puts me in the minority, only because it seems as if most of their other supporters no longer feel comfortable to come out and say it. I think if I ventured out into the internetverse I'd find more supporters. Ideally I'd like for Lane to branch away from the Brigade and a new four person alliance of Matt, Ragan, Britney, and Lane emerges. Enzo has been pathetic. I hate his strategy of throwing comps and then complaining non-stop about how bad he did. He doesn't deserve to be in the Final 4, and neither does Kathy.

It's odd how the push to bring people to Brendon's side has pushed people right over to Ragan, Britney, and Matt's side. It's so funny how things happen in this world.

I hope anyone reading this is having a good, positive day. I'm ready to leave the negative behind. Friday the 13th doesn't necessarily always have to be unlucky. :D

Out of respect to BBDish, I have deleted the previous post. It just didn't feel right personally. I think we got out what needed to be said. We purged it from our systems and I think we are big enough people to move on from that. *Hugs*

Also, if anyone reading could say a prayer for my sister's eldest step-daughter, Candace. She just had twins today that were taken by c-section because Candace had toxemia and one of the twins had an increased heart rate. The twins were born, one was 5lbs 11oz and one was 4lbs 9oz. One needed oxygen. After the c-section though Candace turned blue and they've called in a cardiologist to check her out. I would appreciate any prayers or positive thoughts sent their way.

Hell Week Part 2

Ugh, I want to ask if this day can get worse, but I know better than to tempt fate that way. But seriously. Thursday, August 12th, 2010, sucks!

Brendon won HOH.

And the hate fueled comments start rolling in. So original. While I'd love to give a rousing "FU!" followed with a certain finger, I'm going to resist that urge.

At least I know that I'll have some me time this week since my commenting duties will be limited.

It's just sad to see "regular" commenters chased off by the handful of hateful commenters.

That is all.

Sad Day :(

Well, today hasn't been a fun day. And this isn't related to Big Brother in the slightest except for it's relation to hamsters.

As I've mentioned a few places, I recently purchased 3 Fancy Russian Dwarf Hamsters. I brought them home on March 30th of this year. When I purchased them they were in the same cage and I observed them for about an hour to make sure that I didn't see any fighting. I was only going to get two of them. But one look at their cute little faces, and I had to have all three. On the way home I heard scuffling in their little cardboard box and heard quite a bit of squeaking. I was assuming that a fight had broken out because of the cramped quarters for three hamsters. When I got home, I quickly got them out so they could get acclimated to their new home. One bit me almost immediately and actually drew blood. I wasn't mad or anything, because I knew that they were stressed.

So, then I set about naming them. I knew that one was going to be Gizmo since "The Gremlins" was one of my favorite childhood movies. Another childhood favorite was "The Secret of Nimh". The Secret of Nimh is about a colony of genius rats that help move a widowed field mouse and her children from the fields that are being harvested to a safer part of the farm. The widowed field mouse was named Mrs. Brisby. And one of the guardians of the rat colony was named Brutus. So from that I had my three names picked, Gizmo, Brisby, and Brutus. The grey hamster immediately displayed signs of personality, therefore, he became Gizmo. After the biting incident, it was a no-brainer that the biter would be called Brutus. And finally, the smaller of the three was named Brisby.

Then began the fun, or so I thought. I was observing how they interacted with each other and I noticed that Brutus seemed to bully Brisby a bit. Nothing serious, just some squeaking arguments and brief boxing matches. They separated and went about their happy ways. After a few weeks these spats became fewer and fewer to the point where I didn't even see or hear them fight anymore.

A few months passed and all three had grown quite a bit since I had gotten them. Brisby, once the smallest, is now the largest. They all pack their jaw pouches full of food at feeding time. Things had been going pretty well until a few nights ago. A very loud argument literally woke me up as Brutus and Brisby had engaged in some sort of fight. Brisby is extremely vocal and will squeak loudly and fight until Brutus backed down. I thought it odd, but I let it go. The next night it happened again. Finally this morning, I was woken up at 630a after about three hours of sleep by the most serious fight yet. First, I was angry because I had had so little sleep. I tried to shrug off until another fight broke out. So I got Brutus out and put him in the smaller container I use for when I am cleaning out their home. I was hoping it might have been a sort of "Time Out" for Brutus. After about twenty minutes I decided to reintroduce him to the tank. He immediately began hunting for Brisby, all the while Brisby was scurrying trying to find a safer area. At this point I got Brisby out and put him in the smaller container. As I was looking at him closer I noticed a wound on his stomach. Then one near his ear. Then one on his back. Then another one on his mouth. It made me sick to think that I had not intervened sooner and Brisby had suffered all these injuries.

I was then left with a decision to make. One of the two had to go. Gizmo has always been passive and chill. But it was my fear that if Brutus remained, he would begin targeting Gizmo if Brisby was no longer there. My decision was almost made for me. But I was still struggling with it. My next dilemma came when I didn't know where I could take whichever one I decided to let go. I don't have room or another cage or tank that I could put one in. I tried to lie back down and get some sleep, but my mind and this decision wouldn't let me. I prayed that I would somehow make the right decision. So I waited until the pet store opened up and I gave them a call. I explained what the situation was and they said they would take one back and adopt him out. Since I feared for what would happen with Gizmo, I decided that the only choice was to return Brutus. So I put him in the pet container that I brought him home in and went to the pet store and turned him over.

It's really depressing because I had become attached to all three of them and their individual personality quirks in the four months that I had had them. If there is anything good about this, I did receive a bit of a sign when I returned home. And I do believe in signs, and I think this was God's way of letting me know that I had made the right decision. Underneath the door, I noticed that someone had stuck some sort of pamphlet. Enblazoned across the front of the pamphlet in bold letters read "Life in a Peaceful New World". It was a pamphlet from a Jehovah's Witness. I am hoping that for my remaining hamsters, Gizmo and Brisby, that it will indeed be a peaceful new world for them. I know little about this religion, but I'm grateful for the literature because of how it came at exactly the right time. I feel like this is going to help me come to terms with the decision. I am just going to hold on to the hope that Brutus will find a good home.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with someone, and just get it off my chest. I'll leave you with some pictures of the first day that I brought these little guys home.

This is Gizmo and Brutus. Gizmo is the gray one, and Brutus is in the tube.

And this is Brisby.

Fightin' and Flyin'

The "fight-or-flight response", also called the "hyperarousal" or the "acute stress response", was first described by Walter Cannon in 1929.

His theory states that animals react to threats with a general discharge of the sympathetic nervous system, priming the animal for fighting or fleeing. This response was later recognized as the first stage of a general adaptation syndrome that regulates stress responses among vertebrates and other organisms.

I'm over the double standards. Each person in the BB House has dished it out at one point or another. Some do it to your face. Some do it behind your back. The difference is how you are able to dish it out, and how you are able take it.

I see it like this. Rachel and Brendon have been confrontational since almost the beginning. The rest of the houseguests have basically just taken it. Except for Kristen who fought back. And that's where the double standard started. I think that Britney and especially Ragan have been pushed to their breaking point. Britney has always been catty, but it was mostly kept between her and Monet until Monet was evicted. Then she dialed it back to make sure she stayed in the house.

There's only so much picking, so much holier-than-though attitudes, so much bullying that one can take before they snap. I think Ragan has reached that point. I don't blame him at all. He has repeatedly mentioned how much he was bullied in high school. And I can imagine that the ones that were bullying him were the jock / athletic types (i.e. Brendon). I've been there and done that. I'm a grown man now, and I don't have to take it. And neither does Ragan.

The difference is that in the real world, you have the option to flee. In the BB House, fleeing is only an option for a limited amount of time. So, fighting is the natural response.

Rachel approached Ragan multiple times to "talk." He told her multiple times he wasn't ready. So finally when she asks again, he decides he will talk to her. He explained his reactions to people who are overly emotional. He explained that he sees every confrontation in the house has a common denominator, and that is Rachel. So naturally, being the drama queen she is, she apologizes for making their time in the house so miserable and storms off in a fit of tears, playing to her backyard audience like an Oscar winner. So like the "neanderthal" that he is, Brendon immediately moves in to defend his "woman's" honor. He verbally attacks Ragan and Britney while looming over them as if he was Godzilla attacking a small village. And then he stops mid attack to correct Ragan's pronunciation of neanderthal. WHO DOES THAT?!?!? I burst out laughing even before Ragan and Britney did. That was hilarious. (Oh, and Brendon, just an FYI, either pronunciation is acceptable in the English language.) I would have laughed in his face too. At that point, Ragan and Britney had enough of it. Because yet again, Brendon jumped all off in that kool aid without EVEN knowing what flavor it was. And then Brendon took it one step further with his apparent obsession with Britney's fiance, Nick. What is that?!?! And why the need to personally attack someone's family? That's a line that you don't cross. I lost any and all respect for BB9's Joshuah when he brought Amanda's deceased father into an argument. It was disgusting. Family and friends aren't in the house to defend themselves, so you don't bring them into the argument.

Brendon is worse than Ragan and Britney. Rachel is too with all of her antics, facial expressions during POV meetings, attacking people, bullying people, etc. So why is it that only a handful of people are seeing this? Could it be like my "Mean Girls" alliance of Michelle in Indiana and MsFitz suggest? Are there really two sets of feeds out there?

In regards to the house being boring once Rachel is evicted. Really? When the Brigade has to start targeting each other? You think that's going to be boring? I disagree.

A final message to some of the commenters that have been telling people that our way of thinking is wrong. STOP IT! You are more than welcome to have your opinion. So am I! You aren't going to change how I feel. Stop trying. It won't get you anywhere.

My Name is Syn928, and I'm a Mean Girl!

MeanGirlsChop

Call me mean. Call me hateful. Call me whatever. Just don't call me a "Brenchel" fan! And yes, that's me up there in the pic. With my BFF's Ragan and Britney. And a horrified Rachel looking on.

And yes. I am "A little bit Dramatic." lol!

I'm not going to apologize. I love Ragan and Britney. And I really don't care that they are "mean girls." They are hilarious.

That is all.

Train Wreck

train wreck n. a disaster or failure, especially one that is unstoppable or unavoidable; a disorganized, problematic, or chaotic person or thing; an incongruous situation.

What is there not to love about this face?

Warning: This is going to be harsh.

The more I see Rachel, the more I realize what a sad human being she is. She is playing a role. Not the role of Rachel Reilly, aspiring chemist trying to play the Big Brother game. It's the role of the quintessential Vegas Cocktail Waitress Party Girl. Her role from the beginning has been "The Party girl with big boobs!" Personally, I think she is a disgrace to just about all women.

She is the kind of woman that I would go my entire life trying to avoid. I find it laughable that she is 26 years old. If this is what Vegas is, then remind me never to travel there. Afterall, Rachel boldly proclaimed tonight "I AM VEGAS!" To all the citizens of Vegas, I am so sorry.

It's just really disheartening to watch this living train wreck. Because deep down, she knows the Big Brother game, and if she wasn't such a buffoon, she'd be really good at it.

I'm genuinely concerned with her mental stability once she gets out of the house and realizes that she wasn't the self-proclaimed "Smart Jordan" of BB12. Rachel, Jordan has more charm and integrity in one hair follicle than you will EVER have in an inch of the plastic that makes up 80% of your body. I hope you enjoy the 5 minutes of fame that you might on a very slim chance get out of this.

Oh Brother, Where art thou?

Soooo, my first BB12 Blog post-meeting the houseguests. Underimpressed and Underwhelmed don't seem to cover it.

I can't decide if we were just spoiled by the BB11 houseguests or what. I knew going into this season that the BB12'ers had huge shoes to fill. So far I don't think they have. I mean there was Chimagate, Ronnie the Rat, Jordeff, Neuro Michele, The Widows Godderz, Man-in-a-banana-suit, etc. Are there any characters like that in BB12? I haven't found one yet. We are being forcefed "Brenchel" (gag) and "The Brigade!" At this point, I think I'd rather eat BB Slop. For real. (Plus that would probably help with my eating better plan I started on July 8th, premiere night. Down 9.4 lbs in three weeks if any of you are keeping track.)

So, let me take a look at the houseguests individually.

Annie - I thought Annie had huge promise as an All-Star BB player in her pre season interviews. Then she got in the house and basically lost it. I think being the saboteur had a lot to do with it. She was definitely the BB10 Brian of BB12. Too hard, too fast, a bazillion alliances. Alas, I miss Annie a bit.

Monet - She definitely wasn't as annoying as I thought she would be. A "Mean Girl" definitely. But different from the "Mean Girl" Britney is. I have a sneaking suspicion that Monet was just mean. I think this was her downfall.

Andrew - Completely Socially Awkward. Andrew reminds me a whole lot of BB11 Michele. Neither were trying to be weird, they were just being their normal selves. Unfortunately for both, normal to them translates to abnormal to most of the rest of the world. His behavior automatically brought the "saboteur" cloud over his head. Even after the saboteur was revealed! I think he's a nice guy, and I have to give him mad respect for being able to remain true to his religion in this hamster cage. I'm sure his religion has literally been his saving grace. Unfortunately for Andrew, his behavior almost ensured that he would have an early exit. His latest antics at the POV ceremony and then lashing out at Kristen have sealed his fate. He would have never been anything but a third wheel with his Brendon and Rachel alliance anyway. We'll be seeing you walk out the door tonight Andrew. Sorry man.

Rachel - Wow. If anyone has annoyed me pre-season and post-entering the house, it would have to be the Vegas Cocktail Waitress / Chemist. Pretty much everything about her gets on my nerves. The one thing I have to give her props for is that she does know this game. She's got really good skills at seeing through other people's lies and manipulations. She totally had Matt pegged with his "Don't tell anyone I volunteered" story. She's pretty much the less likable version of BB11 Laura for me. I won't be sad to see Rachel go, for her own mistake of being so overtly in a showmance and creating the distance between herself, Brendon, and the other houseguests.

Brendon - Whiner. He just really doesn't get it. Who's fault is it that everyone is after you Brendon? I hope you are looking in the mirror. His constant whining about everyone gunning for them really gets on my last nerve. It wouldn't get on my nerves so bad if people gunning for him had no basis. But they do have a basis for going after him. And about 98% of that was created by his own doing. Moron. For someone so "Smart" he sure is dumb.

Hayden - Okay, so I've gotten over my anger at him stealing my trademark profile pic. Actually, I think Hayden is a pretty cool guy. I thought he would really screw up by being the 1st HOH. I was very pleasantly surprised at how he handled it. I think his strategy of laying low is going to pay off well for him. Brendon, take note, this is how you play BB if you are going to be in a showmance. I really like how Hayden has aligned himself with The Brigade and with Kristen. But he's genuinely nice to everyone in the house. I really think that Hayden is going to make it far in this game.

Kristen - Thy name be Wallflower. Wow, I've never seen a contestant fly so far under the radar that it seems like she's not even a houseguest. I've liked watching her emerge the past week and a half. I love how she's a no nonsense kinda lady. When she called out Britney for the lie that Rachel made up, I thought it was great. And then when Andrew basically attacked her, she didn't back down from that either. I don't like that she sometimes gets classified as a "floater." I don't think she is in the slightest because I think a floater is someone that has allegiances to no one and float from the person in power to the next person in power and so on. Kristen is basically a non-player until she has to. She's pretty even no matter who is in power. I think Kristen has the chance to make it far in this game as well.

Kathy - Unlike Kristen, Kathy is the classic floater. I wanted to like her too, but I don't really. I think that she will be used by the other houseguests until she's no longer useful. I do like that she went with her gut on casting her vote to evict Matt over Monet. But she's already showed that she will fail at every competition. I don't respect that kind of game play. I think Kathy will at least make it to Jury, but I think that's about it.

Britney - Oh what a catty bitch. But oh, how I love a catty bitch. She's not catty with just girls, she's catty with everyone. And her particular brand of sarcasm is awesome! I share that trait with her. I'm glad that we've got see how hilarious she can be without Monet around. I've really really enjoyed watching her this week. It doesn't hurt that I think she is the hottest girl in the house. L-U-V her! She's very perceptive too. I'm hoping that she and Ragan have a meeting of the minds and make it far in the game. And I love her love/hate relationship with Lane. They are really funny together.

Lane - He's one that has been very under the radar too. His gameplay is almost akin to Kathy's though. The only difference is that I find his delivery and comedic timing funny. I really didn't appreciate a certain "F" word he used one night. I hate it when that word is used because it has been used against me from bullies growing up, and it just puts me back into a dark place that I really don't want to go back to, ever. And yes, I know I'm being hypocritical right now because I know Jeff and Jordan both had said it also. I'm guessing the difference is that I didn't know Lane when he used it. I had already felt like I knew Jeff and Jordan when they did, and I knew that they meant it just as a word like scumbag or douche. I didn't know Lane well enough when he said it, and his physique just reminded me of a bully. I'm still not 100% sure he didn't mean it in the way that means being gay is a bad thing. The jury is still out with me for Lane.

Enzo - He definitely doesn't annoy me as much as I thought he would. I do wish he'd grow the eff up though. Farting and throwing gra-nades is not something that a grown man does for jokes ... 24 hours a day. I definitely see him as the chink in The Brigade's armor. I hate how he smacks his lips around when he's talking about someone. His personality is too big for me. I don't see him outlasting the rest of The Brigade. I don't really see him being useful in the game either. I think Enzo would be the one that I would be the least ambivalent about when he leaves the house. Unfortunately, I think he is well liked by the rest of the houseguests, and he's done well not to anger anyone, so I think for that alone, means he will make it pretty far.

Ragan - I really like me some Ragan. I think he's a true scholar of the BB Game. But I also think he is making some stupid mistakes. #1 being his unwavering trust of Matt. I can't believe he doesn't see through Matt's act. It's really hard to watch play out on the feeds, because I think Matt will be the one to destroy Ragan's game. I don't even see Ragan making it to Final 4. Matt will shrug him off like a bad habit. For his trust of Matt, I've had to back away a bit from the Ragan bandwagon.

Matt - Hmmm, I wonder if I've ever disliked a houseguest more than I dislike Matt. I think not. I find the lengths that he is willing to go to reprehensible. Karma is a bitch for a reason. You don't put things like that out in the universe without expecting something bad in return. I really don't care if his wife is okay with his lie or not. I feel personally manipulated by him. I went on the search for "Stacy's Story" the website that Matt made about his wife's condition. I went as far as spending nearly an hour researching the disease that his wife supposedly ailed from. For that Matt will NEVER have my vote for anything. There's one thing being in a game manipulating the people you are playing with. It's totally another thing manipulating hundreds of thousands of viewers. He is disgusting.

Brenchel - Yuck. I'm so over CBS shoving them down our throats. They are in the position they are in because they have isolated themselves since the first week. I'm very over them, and was over them pretty much an hour into the live feeds when they first went live.

The Brigade - The bravado this group shows is insane. I really can't wait to watch them self distruct.

In closing, it's weird for me that I don't have a favorite yet. No one has really "wowed" me this season. I hope that BB12 really starts ramping up tonight. I would like to be able to finally root for someone in this crazy game.

Thanks for taking the time to read folks! Enjoy the Live Show Tonight!

For MsFitz

MsFitz, I'm so so sorry for your loss. When my Golden Retriever, Max, passed away almost two years ago, someone posted this poem for me, and it brought me such comfort. I hope it does the same for you. Hugs!

THE RAINBOW BRIDGE POEM

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

(12) Do you have any acting, singing or performing aspirations? If so, tell us your wishes and goals. I AM A VERY DRAMATIC PERSON AT TIMES, AND I’D BE LYING IF I SAID I WOULDN’T WANT TO BE AN ACTOR. IF THAT OPPORTUNITY CAME UP I WOULD DEFINITELY TAKE IT.

(13) Have you ever appeared in any television programs or films or movies or commercials or advertisements of any kind? If so, please provide details and describe when you made such appearance(s). I WAS IN A 30 MINUTE ADVERTISING SHOW ON A LOCAL NETWORK FOR THE REAL ESTATE TEAM THAT I WAS A PART OF. THE PREMISE WAS TO SHOWCASE HOMES FOR SALE IN THE AREA. I ALSO APPEARED IN A BRIEF COMMERCIAL SHOWCASING THE REAL ESTATE COMPANY I WORKED FOR AND OUR SUPPORT OF THE UCP TELETHON. BOTH OCCURRED IN LATE 2008.

(14) Have you ever been arrested, charged with a crime, and/or been subjected to disciplinary charges of any kind (whether through a private or public entity)? If so, please describe the circumstances of the arrest(s), and the charge(s) and/or accusations (include dates and locations). Were you convicted or disciplined, and, if so, in what way? NO

(15) Have you ever had a restraining order issued against you? If so, tell us about it (include dates, city & state). NO

(16) Have you ever had a restraining order issued against someone else? If so, tell us about it (include dates, city & state). NO

(17) Have you ever been involved in any litigation? Are you involved in any pending litigation? If so, tell us about it (include dates). NO

(18) Are there any nude or other revealing or compromising images of you that are available publicly either through the Internet, video or otherwise? If so, please describe and explain. NO

Section II: Family & Lifestyle
(19) Please list any children’s name(s) and age(s): NO CHILDREN

(20) Regardless of your marital status, describe your ideal romantic partner: MY IDEAL ROMANTIC PARTNER WOULD HAVE TO BE FUNNY. I BELIEVE THAT LAUGHTER IS AN ESSENTIAL FACTOR IN SUSTAINING A HAPPY AND HEALTHY LIFE. OBVIOUSLY ATTRACTIVENESS WOULD PLAY A BIG PART AS WELL. I TEND TO BE MOST ATTRACTED TO WOMEN WHO ARE JUST YOUR BASIC GIRL NEXT DOOR TYPES. I’M NORMALLY MORE ATTRACTED TO BRUNETTES, HOWEVER I’VE DATED MORE BLONDES. A GREAT SMILE AND BEAUTIFUL EYES ARE USUALLY THE FIRST THINGS I NOTICE.

(21) Describe your relationship with your mother. I AM VERY CLOSE TO MY MOTHER. SHE’S MY ROCK AND SOMEONE WHO I KNOW WILL TAKE CARE OF ME FOR AS LONG AS SHE POSSIBLY CAN. WE ARE A LOT ALIKE IN OUR PERSONALITIES. SHE’S SURVIVED A LOT IN LIFE AND I WILL ALWAYS ADMIRE HER FOR OVERCOMING THE ODDS. I AM AND WILL ALWAYS BE A “MOMMA’S BOY” AND THAT IS SOMETHING THAT I WILL NEVER BE ASHAMED OF.

(22) Describe your relationship with your father. MY FATHER AND I ARE ALSO REALLY CLOSE. HE IS PROBABLY THE MOST CARING AND GENTLE MAN THAT I’LL EVER HAVE MET. I WROTE IN HIS FATHER’S DAY CARD THIS YEAR THAT HE WAS “AN INSPIRATION NOT ONLY AS A FATHER BUT ALSO AS A MAN” AND I MEANT EVERY SINGLE WORD. IF I TURN OUT TO BE HALF THE MAN HE IS, THEN I’LL BE DOING GOOD.

(23) What is/are your favorite food(s)? JUNK FAST FOOD. LOVE CHEESEBURGERS AND FRENCH FRIES. LOVE ITALIAN FOOD. LOVE MEXICAN FOOD.

(24) Do you smoke? If so, what do you smoke and how often? NO

(25) Do you drink alcohol? If so, how often do you drink and how much? NO

(26) If you drink, how often do you get drunk? How do you act when you get drunk? NEVER BEEN DRUNK IN ALL MY 30 YEARS

(27) What are your thoughts on religion? I AM A CHRISTIAN BUT I WOULDN’T CONSIDER MYSELF A RELIGIOUS PERSON PERSE. I BELIEVE THAT IT IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO DETERMINE THEIR FAITH. I AM PERFECTLY CONTENT SITTING ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN, JUST ME AND GOD. I DON’T NECESSARILY FEEL THE NEED TO CONGREGATE IN ONE PLACE OF WORSHIP. I TEND TO BE JUDGMENTAL IN PLACES LIKE THAT BECAUSE I’M WONDERING WHO IS THERE FOR THE MESSAGE AND WHO’S THERE FOR THE APPEARANCE. AND SINCE I WAS RAISED THAT JUDGING PEOPLE WASN’T MY PLACE, I TRY TO AVOID THOSE SITUATIONS. I DO FEEL A SPIRITUAL CONNECTION TO GOD, SO IT’S HARD FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND AGNOSTICS AND ATHEISTS. BUT I ALSO DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT OTHER RELIGIONS AND THEIR BELIEFS. I’M OPEN MINDED TO HEARING ANYONE OUT ON THE SUBJECT AS LONG AS THEIR GOAL IS NOT TO CHANGE MY BELIEFS.

(28) Are politics important to you? How often do you vote? NO, POLITICS AREN’T IMPORTANT TO ME AT ALL. AND I KNOW THAT IT’S DANGEROUS TO WALK AROUND THE WORLD BLISSFULLY UNAWARE OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN OUR GOVERNMENTS AND WHO IS IN CHARGE OF MAKING OUR LAWS. BUT IT’S NEVER BEEN SOMETHING THAT HAS INTERESTED ME IN THE SLIGHTEST. I USUALLY ONLY VOTE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

(29) Have you had any particularly interesting occupation(s) in your past? If so, tell us about it/them. PROBABLY THE MOST INTERESTING SITUATIONS I’VE BEEN IN OCCURRED WHEN I WAS A TELEPHONE OPERATOR. YOU KNOW, DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE AND “0” OPERATORS? I WORKED IN A TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY THAT PROVIDED OPERATOR ASSISTANCE. I WAS IN THAT PARTICULAR DEPARTMENT FOR NINE YEARS AS BOTH AN OPERATOR AND IN A SUPERVISORY POSITION. THE THINGS THAT PEOPLE WILL SAY TO YOU WHEN YOU ARE ONLY A VOICE ON THE OTHER END OF THE PHONE LINE ARE UNBELIEVABLE. THEY WILL BE RUDE, YELL, CRUDE, IT’S CRAZY. ONCE I WAS ON A CALL AND THE CALLER THOUGHT I HAD THEM ON HOLD AND THEY COULD NOT BE HEARD. THE CALLER AND HER … FRIEND … HAD OBVIOUSLY JUST FINISHED, UM, EXPRESSING THEIR LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER, AND HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HIS, UM, SIZE NOT BEING UP TO PAR, AND SHE WAS LETTING HIM KNOW THAT IT WAS. I QUICKLY GOT THEM THE NUMBER FOR THEIR PIZZA DELIVERY COMPANY AND DISCONNECTED FROM THE LINE. GUESS THEY WERE HUNGRY.

(30) Do you have any pets? If so, please list their name(s) and type(s). I DO, I RECENTLY GOT THREE RUSSIAN DWARF HAMSTERS NAMED BRISBY, BRUTUS, AND GIZMO.

(31) Are you a vegetarian? Do you have any food limitations (e.g. allergies, religious, etc.)? NO, I’M NOT A VEGETARIAN. I’M NOT ALLERGIC TO ANYTHING THAT I KNOW OF. HOWEVER, I DO NOT, AND WILL NOT EAT ANY KIND OF SEAFOOD. I AM NOT A FAN AT ALL. IF YOU WANT TO SEE GAGGING, THEN PUT A FRESH PLATE OF STINKY SEAFOOD IN FRONT OF ME. ON SECOND THOUGHT, SCRATCH THAT, I KNOW HOW SADISTIC BIG BROTHER CAN BE.

(32) Have you ever lived with roommates? If so, tell us about it. NO. I DON’T THINK I COULD TOLERATE ROOMMATES (IF THERE WASN’T A CHANCE AT HALF A MILLION IN THE END). I THINK I MIGHT HAVE A MILD CASE OF OCD OR SOMETHING BECAUSE I DEFINITELY THINK THAT THINGS HAVE THEIR PLACE AND I GET UPSET IF MY THINGS GET MOVED.

(33) What is your favorite TV show(s)? I’M A BIG TV ADDICT, SO I’LL JUST MAKE THIS A QUICK LIST. BIG BROTHER (OBVIOUSLY), TRUE BLOOD, GREY’S ANATOMY, WIPE OUT, BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE GOOD WIFE, PARENTHOOD, LOST, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, ONE TREE HILL, REBA, GOLDEN GIRLS, DESIGNING WOMEN, FRIENDS, ROSEANNE.

(34) What is your favorite movie(s)? I’M ALSO A BIG MOVIE ADDICT. I’LL JUST LIST THE MOVIES I COULD WATCH OVER AND OVER. MEET JOE BLACK, HALLOWEEN, THE SCREAM TRILOGY, BRING IT ON (YEAH I SAID IT), HITCHCOCK’S THE BIRDS AND REAR WINDOW, ANY COMIC BOOK MOVIE, MOST VAMPIRE MOVIES (LOVE UNDERWORLD), AND INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH LOVEY DOVEY MOVIES. I DON’T LIKE MOVIES THAT MAKE YOU WANT TO GO JUMP OFF A LEDGE BY THE TIME YOU REACH THE END.

(35) What kind of music do you like best? Favorite artists? I GENERALLY LIKE MOST MUSIC. MY FAVORITE KIND OF MUSIC ARE SONGS THAT TELL STORIES WHICH MEANS THAT I AM INDEED A COUNTRY FAN. FAVORITE ARTISTS WOULD BE TIM MCGRAW, FAITH HILL, LADY ANTEBELLUM, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, KELLY CLARKSON, CREED, DAMIAN RICE, ALICIA KEYS, BLACK EYED PEAS, EVANESCENCE, MOBY, JAMES TAYLOR, JIM CROCE, MAROON 5, PINK, SHERYL CROW, TRACY CHAPMAN, AND TO BE TOTALLY EMBARASSING, PAULA ABDUL AND ACE OF BASE (HEY I WAS A KID OF THE 90’s).

(36) What magazines do you read? I’M A BIG COMIC BOOK GEEK WHICH WOULD QUALIFY AS A MAGAZINE I GUESS. I’VE BEEN READING THE X-MEN COMICS SINCE 1990. OVER THE YEARS I’VE PICKED UP FANTASTIC FOUR, SPIDER-MAN, WONDER WOMAN, SUPERMAN, BATMAN, BUT MY MAINSTAY HAS AND PROBABLY ALWAYS WILL BE X-MEN.

(37) What is your favorite color? Why? I REALLY LIKE THE COLOR GREEN BECAUSE IT’S NOT EASY BEING GREEN, BUT IT REALLY BRINGS OUT MY EYES.

(38) Do you belong to any affiliations or organizations? NO

(39) Do you have any body art (piercings, tattoos, etc.)? If so, please describe them. NO

(40) What are your favorite sports to play? To watch? I’M NOT ATHLETIC IN THE SLIGHTEST AND CAN’T RECALL SITTING DOWN AND WATCHING AN ENTIRE GAME OF ANYTHING. I CAN JUST FIND BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH MY TIME THAN THAT.

(41) What are your favorite activities? I’M LIKE PERMANENTLY ATTACHED TO MY COMPUTER. MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME IS THE SIMS 2. I DON’T ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME THOUGH, I JUST CREATE THINGS FOR IT, WHETHER IT BE SUPERHERO COSTUMES, 3D MESHES OF OBJECTS AND ACCESSORIES, OR HOUSES. IT IS DEFINITELY MY CREATIVE OUTLET. I LIKE SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY. I LOVE DRIVING, AND I DON’T EVEN HAVE TO HAVE A PARTICULAR DESTINATION IN MIND. I LIKE SPENDING TIME IN NATURE LIKE IN THE MOUNTAINS CLOSE TO MY HOME.

Section III: Medical & Psychological
(42a) Have you been treated for or suffered from any physical or mental illnesses (other than common colds) within the last ten (10) years? NO

(43) Have you ever sought mental health counseling in any form? If so, please provide details. NO

(44) Please list any allergies you have (medications, food, hay fever, dust, etc.) and your current treatment for them (if any). THE ONLY ONE I CAN THINK OF IS THAT THE CINNAMON STUFF THE DENTIST USES TO CLEAN YOUR TEETH IRRIATES MY GUMS.

(45) Have you ever been diagnosed with, or treated for, alcoholism or any other drug-related addiction? If so, please provide more details, including how long you've been in recovery, if that's the case. NO

(46) Do you have a temper? How often do you lose your temper? What provokes you? I HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO HAVE A TEMPER. I DON’T LOSE IT OFTEN, BUT WHEN I DO, I BASICALLY SNAP BECAUSE I’VE BEEN LETTING THINGS GET TO ME WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. STUPID PEOPLE AND INJUSTICE PROVOKE ME.

(47) How do you deal with anger? I’VE NEVER BEEN PHYSICALLY VIOLENT WITH ANOTHER LIVING CREATURE, BUT I CAN PUNCH THINGS (WALLS, PILLOWS, ETC). I TRY TO NOT LET THINGS GET ME TO THAT LEVEL THOUGH.

(48) How do you deal with someone who intimidates you? GENERALLY I’M NOT INTIMIDATED BY OTHER PEOPLE. I THINK THAT EVERYONE PUTS THEIR PANTS ON THE SAME WAY AS ME, ONE LEG AT A TIME.

(49) When was the last time (if any) you hit, punched, kicked, or threw something in anger? Please provide details. SADLY ENOUGH, IT WAS JUST LAST SATURDAY, AT WORK. PART OF MY JOB REQUIRES CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION VIA THE TELEPHONE. ANOTHER PART OF MY JOB IS THAT I TEND TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE INCOMPETENCE OF OTHERS. IN THIS PARTICULAR SITUATION, SOMEONE HAD TOLD THIS CUSTOMER, WHO’S TROUBLE I WAS ASSIGNED TO FIX, THAT THE TROUBLE HAD ALREADY BEEN ISOLATED AND STEPS WERE BEING TAKEN CARE OF TO REMEDY THE TROUBLE. SO WHEN I CALL THE CUSTOMER AND EXPLAIN THAT I’M IN THE BEGINNING STAGES OF WORKING HIS TROUBLE, HE GOES OFF!!! SO I WAS IN A SITUATION WHERE I WAS HAVING TO PAY FOR SOMEONE ELSE’S STUPIDITY. AND THE FACT THAT THE CUSTOMER WAS A RELENTLESS PRICK DIDN’T HELP MATTERS MUCH. THEREFORE WHEN I HUNG UP MY PHONE, I DID HAVE A BIT OF A TANTRUM AND I SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN SEVERAL TIMES, CRACKING THE STAND (THAT I PURCHASED IT WASN’T COMPANY PROPERTY) THAT MY PHONE SITS ON. I IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED IT.

(50) What are you afraid of (e.g., heights, flying, etc.)? GREAT HEIGHTS, LIKE AT THE TOP OF A CLIFF MAKE ME NERVOUS. IF I’M TIED INTO A SECURE HARNESS I DON’T THINK I WOULD HAVE A PROBLEM. I LOATHE SPIDERS, WORMS, AND ROACHES.

Section IV: Your Chance to be Creative
(51) List the three adjectives that best describe you. OUTSPOKEN, SARCASTICALLY FUNNY, LOYAL

(52) If you could hold any political office, what would it be and why? VICE PRESIDENT, YOU GET THE TITLE, BUT WHAT DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO DO?

(53) What is the accomplishment you are most proud of? LIVING 30 YEARS WITHOUT DISAPPOINTING MY PARENTS.

(54) What are you most ashamed of, either now or in your past? THAT I TALK ABOUT BEHIND THEIR BACKS WHEN I DON’T REALLY KNOW THEM AT ALL. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MIGHT TURN OUT TO BE YOUR FRIEND ONE DAY.

(55) Describe your perfect day. WINNING BIG BROTHER … OR THE LOTTERY.

(56) Who is your hero and why? MY PARENTS BECAUSE OF EVERYTHING THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH IN THEIR LIVES, YET THEY STILL CHAMPIONED TOGETHER AND TACKLED OBSTACLES AS A TEAM. AND ALSO FOR THEIR VALUES.

(57) List three (3) items you would take with you into the Big Brother house if allowed and why. MY iPOD BECAUSE MUSIC CAN TAKE ME OUT OF STRESSFUL SITUATIONS AND CENTER ME. MY COMPUTER AND IT’S PROGRAMS BECAUSE I WOULD NEED A CREATIVE OUTLET. A PRIVATE BATHROOM.

(58) Have you ever been to a nude beach? If so, what was it like? NO

(59) Finish this sentence: “My life's motto is…” BE YOU AND STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, AND DON’T TAKE ANYTHING OFF OF ANYBODY.

(60) What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous? WHATEVER I COULD TO MAKE MY FAMILIES LIFE BETTER.

(61) What types of people would you choose to have living with you in the “Big Brother” house? OTHER PEOPLE LIKE ME WITH SIMILAR INTERESTS.

(62) What types of people would you NOT choose to live with you in the house? RUDE PEOPLE WITH BAD MANNERS AND HYGIENE.

(63) What would irritate you about living in a house with about a dozen other people? NO PERSONAL SPACE. MY OCD TENDENCIES WOULD PROBABLY DRIVE ME INSANE.

(64) What do you think would be the most difficult part of living in the “Big Brother” house? Explain. NOT BEING ABLE TO TALK TO MY FAMILY. I COUNT ON THEM TREMENDOUSLY TO TALK OVER BIG DECISIONS WITH THEM AND I VALUE THEIR INPUT. BEING ALL ALONE WOULD BE SCARY.

(65) Which past “Big Brother” houseguest did you like the most? The least? Explain. PROBABLY THE MOST FAVORITE WOULD BE DAN OF SEASON 10. I REALLY LIKED HIS GAMEPLAY AND THAT HE WAS A GENUINELY NICE PERSON IN THE HOUSE. MY MOST FAVORITE DUO WOULD HAVE TO BE JEFF AND JORDAN OF SEASON 11 THOUGH, I’D LOVE TO BE IN THE HOUSE WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY JUST MADE ME HAPPY. MY LEAST FAVORITE WOULD HAVE TO BE RONNIE OF SEASON 11. I REALLY DESPISED HIS GAME PLAY AND THE JOY HE TOOK IN THE MISERY OF OTHERS.

(66) Do you have a strategy for winning “Big Brother”? EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED AND THINK ON MY TOES.

(67) Aside from the cash prize, what do you hope to gain from winning “Big Brother”? JUST BEING ABLE TO GET INTO THE HOUSE AND LIVE TO TELL ABOUT IT, WHILE RETAINING MY DIGNITY.

(68) A recurring theme on “Big Brother” is “expect the unexpected.” How would you handle “the unexpected?” Are there any possible twists on the show that would be particularly challenging for you to handle? I GENERALLY DO EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED. I’M NOT A PRECOG, SO THERE’S NO WAY FOR ME TO PREDICT THE FUTURE. THE ONE CHALLENGE I THINK WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR ME WAS THE SEASON 8 TWIST WHERE YOU HAD TO LIVE WITH AN ADVERSARY. I TEND TO HOLD GRUDGES.

(69) Is there anything else you'd like to tell us about yourself and why you think you'd make a great Big Brother participant and housemate? Try to differentiate yourself and be creative! I’M GENERALLY A GOOD PERSON ONCE YOU GET TO KNOW ME, BUT I DO TAKE A WHILE TO WARM UP TO PEOPLE AND REALLY OPEN UP TO THEM. I’M REALLY KIND OF PURE IN A SENSE THAT I DON’T DRINK, SMOKE, DO DRUGS, OR SLEEP AROUND WITH PEOPLE, YET I’M NOT A PRUDE EITHER. I’M A BIT OF A CHAMELEON AND HARD TO FIGURE OUT. I DEFINITELY DON’T FIT IN ANYONE’S BOX OF HOW I SHOULD BE.

(70) Have you ever applied for and/or appeared on any other reality TV shows, dating shows or game shows? If so, please provide details and dates. NO

What up Homies!?!?

OMG, BB12 is upon us. Less than 30 days from now our lives will be over, and we'll be glued to our computer and television screens waiting for the next blow up (or hook up) in the BB House.

I am soooooo excited for it to begin. BB11 was one of the most entertaining seasons I've ever watched since I started watching during BB7. The Producers are going to have a truly difficult time finding people as controversial and loved/hated as they did with BB11. (Yes, Chima and Ronnie, I'm looking at you.) I hope that they find people as interesting if not more. But I gotta say, I don't think they'll ever top my faves of Jordan and Jeff. Seeing those two together literally brought a smile to my face on a daily basis. And the Amazing Race basically ignored them, so I wasn't able to get my fix of them with that show. Here's hoping they'll make a surprise appearance as comp hosts at some point during BB12. Yes folks, The Jordeff love still lives on.

Another thing that I'm super excited about is the unique privilege of making the banners for BBDish again this season. After everything that Carolyn gives us, it's the least I can do, and if there's anything that I can do to help her be able to focus her energies elsewhere, like giving us amazing updates multiple times daily, then I'm game. Making the first one of this season really made the fact that BB12 is upon us hit home. And I really can't wait to see what the new not-so-2005 (her words folks, not mine, looks great to me in either form) face lift looks like on BBDish. If you haven't heard of BBDish, then I have no idea how you found me, but be sure to check it out: BigBrotherDISH

But, what I'm MOST excited about is getting to experience BB12 with the most amazing people in the world. Carolyn, Genie Sea, Jun (my dishmance!), GaYToR, Blue, MsFitz, WendyLady, JulieB, Michelle in Indiana, Rubyrooo, Tarheel~Teresa, Ilissa, Marci, Jaggers, KScooterfox, Reneep, MaryE, .... OMG, there's just so many! Basically anyone who's posted at the Dish or here, full of awesomeness. In all honesty, I think all of you is what made BB11 so much fun!

To get ready for BB12, I've been rewatching the BB11 episodes on CBS.com. The drama, the fights, the Jordeff, wow, so much fun reliving those moments. Even Jessie was more tolerable this time around, knowing what lay in store for him with Coup d'Etat. I've watched almost all 30 episodes over the last few days. Go watch 'em before they disappear! I've also fired up that flashback machine to experience some of the awesome moments of BB11. If you don't have the feeds, be sure to get them from Carolyn at BBDish, who I'm sure will be posting links to get them any day now. You won't be disappointed. Combined with the awesome posts including times of noteworthy events from BB Dish and the Flashback Machine, you won't miss a thing.

Here's some things I don't want to see this season:

The Next Ronnie: Ronnie is the only houseguest that made me want to physically punch my screen. I don't mind people that play hard and fast, but someone who does that, and thinks that they are the ultimate gamer and know more about the BB Game than any of the other houseguests in the history of BB. Someone who thinks that they are cooler than they are or EVER will be. Ugh ... Ronnie = Do Not Want!

The Next Chima: The last thing BB12 needs is another ungrateful, cackling, self-centered harpie like Chima was. I really think that's all that needs to be said about her.

No More Jessie: He's had two shots. That's MORE than enough.

Nasty Hook-Ups w/ No Substance: Let's face it, there are plenty of sites out there that one could visit to see the nastiness that was seen via Jessie and Lydia of Season 11, April and Ollie of Season 10, or James and Chelsia of Season 9 (Sorry, Chelsia, but I know you kick yourself over this more than we do!). A cute little love story with respect for one another would be awesome again, like we had with Jordeff, but I'm not holding my breath.

Houseguests that stay up until 6-7-8am: C'mon guys, some of us occassionally have to get up for work early in the mornings. Can we cut if off at like 2am or 3am? Please?

Giving in to HG's Threats: OMG, this is a biggie. No more threats and blatant disregard for house rules from the houseguests without consequences. When BB calls you to go to the DR, go. When BB asks you to put your mic on, do it.

Have-Have Nots: One of the things I hated most about BB11 besides Ronnie and Chima (dead horse? lol) was the Have Nots. I'd rather see the old food comps back. Or a new one. I think that the Have Nots was a fun thing to try out, I just didn't think it worked.

Nasty Natalie: Ugh, what killed me most was the chewing with her mouth open, yelling at us in the DR, and above all, not taking showers. She was the epitome of disgusting. I'm hoping for houseguests with more manners and hygiene than Natalie had. Even 15% more would be better. Just sayin'.

So, what else can you expect from Synful Ramblings this summer? I seriously hope to have many more blog posts than just the two I had last season. I'm already half way there, w00t! And yes, I will indeed be posting a blog or more giving a sneak peek into the life of the man behind Syn928 (and great, I know I just opened that one up for GaYToR).

So strap in everyone and let's get ready for what I hope will be an extremely exciting summer!

~ Syn
