This Brigade. Wow. They are going to need some serious therapy when they get out of the house and realize that throngs of fans aren't going to be throwing thereselves at them.

Noun 1. delusions of grandeur - a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are
delusion, psychotic belief - (psychology) an erroneous belief that is held in the face of evidence to the contrary
megalomania - a psychological state characterized by delusions of grandeur

A quote springs to mind, uttered by the broken Blanche DuBois.

"Whoever you are, I have always depended on the kindness of strangers."

Do they really think they are going to be the next big thing to hit the world. There's so much they want for free. There's so much that they think they deserve. For what? They went on a reality show to win $500K. They didn't do anything Earth-shattering to get to the end. Did they make Rachel and Brendon act like they did? No. All they did was fly under the radar. I'm still not seeing how they've done these amazing things that make them the BEST ALLIANCE in Big Brother History. I just don't understand.

And I also find it quite hilarious right now, with the way Enzo is behaving. He berated Ragan and Britney time and time again for acting the very same way he is acting right now. This is how he has acted after every competition he lost. Which is about 15, by the way. Enzo is SUCH a LOSER in the game of Big Brother.

I'm so glad that this season is almost over. I hope they get rid of the casting people that found this cast and start over.

Could I Care Less?

OMG. BBLand. These last few days have been like watching vultures circle over a struggling bunny rabbit clinging on to the last few minutes of life. The only difference is the HG's playing the role of bunny keep changing. I've lost interest in BB12. There's no one that I'm particularly rooting for.

Matt screwed himself over big time. He's said in both his DR's and to Ragan, that he's being shunned by the people who were his friends (Enzo, Hayden, and Lane). And he KNOWS that they have used him to get them this far and that they are now cutting him loose. So why Matt? Why would you continue to throw Ragan under the bus and share his house knowledge with the Three Stooges? And also, why are you rolling over and dying? For a Diabolical Super Idiot, I mean Genuis, you sure have given up quick. How about exposing the Brigade? Sure, some people might not believe you, but at leave give a chance for the seed of doubt to grow into a fruitful tree. Strike up an alliance with Brendon and Ragan.

Britney, poor little doe eyed Britney. WAKE UP! This is Big Brother. You TRUST NO ONE! Lane is playing you for a fool. He has absolutely no allegiance to you. You were so on to what was really going on after the POV comp. But no, you have to trust your "army" and you will be going to the jury house with a little "Friendly Fire" aimed your way by your "army." They will have you out the first chance they get. There's no reason for them to get rid of Brendon. They stand the best chance of winning if he and one of them is in the final two.

Ragan, stop with the "Inappropriate Zing Bot." It's not funny. And it's a real shame that you didn't believe Kristen until now about the boy's alliance. You pegged it completely. I just fear that it's far too little and far too late. And I'm really concerned how you are going to react once you get out of the house and realize the true depth of Matt's betrayal. It's going to suck for you.

The Three Stooges. Ugh. I'm so over "The Brigade." And the funny thing is, they've gone on and on about how they'll be the only alliance in BB History to make it from beginning to end in a hidden alliance. Well you won't. Joke's on you Boys! When you turned on your own, and booted Matt out of the alliance, then you severed your Brigade Alliance. Yeah, a new one was born with a new name, BG3D (lame), but it won't be the one that last until the end either. Hayden doesn't have an allegiance to either of you Enzo and Lane. He's got Final 2 deals with both of you.

And here's where I get to the point where I really don't care who wins BB12. I'm ready for BB13. This season was a HUGE bust! I'm hoping that AGP does better next season. There needs to be more diversity in the people chosen. These people are all like cookie cutter images of the roles that they were supposed to be.

I don't want to say it, but I'm going to. "I'm so over Big Brother."

How to Survive an ELE (Extinction Level Event):

Ladies and Gents, he's not only a physicist, he's also an expert at survival. Much like the roaches he called his fellow housemates. Brendon Villegas of Big Brother 12 is well versed in the act of survival. An Ice Age, A Nuclear Holocaust, A Massive Asteriod impact, Global Warming, and the Sun Dying don't stand a chance against Brendon. Nothing will bring him down or get him out of the Big Brother house.

This was my absolute worst case scenario. Brendon won the POV today. Matt will go up as the renom, and will be the first houseguest evicted during Thursday's Double Eviction Episode. And no, I don't have to be clairvoyant to forsee this future. The ONLY thing I see that would prevent this from happening would be Chimagate Part Deux. I think that there's about a 20% chance that Ragan will voluntarily exit. Given that he won't be on the block, I'd have no idea how AGP would handle that. That's the only thing I see happening that could possibly save Matt.

Now, given that Matt didn't receive any of the punishments during the POV comp, it's possible that he got greedy and took the prizes. If he did, then he probably deserves to go home because he couldn't have felt safe going into the comp. If he did not get greedy, then Brendon is just a super fast player and took all the punishments himself (The Chum bath, Shaving his Head, and the 24hr Handcuffs). If that's the case, then Matt got a raw deal, and it sucks he'll be leaving, but I'm really not that upset about it. I do hope that his exit speech is explosive and that he exposes the Brigade. But at this point, it would probably be moot because I don't see Brendon, Britney, and Ragan teaming up to get the Brigade out.

I can not respect the Brigade's lack of game play, using Matt to do all the dirty work and save their butts, and then cutting him loose this easily. It's just sucky game play that I have not enjoyed watching play out.

This week is basically planned out and will cease being predictable about 15 mins into the Live Show on Thursday (Almost 5 Full Days from now) when Matt is Evicted and the first HOH of the hour is crowned. Hopefully I'll get lots and lots done. I've got vacation days on Monday and Tuesday, so I may go catch a movie, or go on a day trip somewhere. It's nice having free time during the BB Season. Hmmm, what can I do?

Prove. Me. Wrong. Big. Brother. I. Dare. You.

Thoughts on this week? Sound off below.

Diamonds are a boy's best friend!

Yay! I'm super excited for Big Brother tonight. The look on people's faces when Matt whips out the Diamond Power of Veto is going to be priceless. I've got the same excited feeling that I had when I knew Jeff was going to use his Coup de 'tat.

In a perfect world, I'd love for Matt to choose Enzo as his renom. Enzo is useless in this game. Now I know that Ragan called Rachel a parrot, but if anyone is a parrot, it's gotta be Enzo. He brings nothing productive to competitions or strategy talks. All he does is repeat what the person he's talking to has just said. If I were in that house, he would be the one that drove me most insane. I don't find him funny in the slightest. I switch feeds whenever he's on if there's another option. Sometimes I will turn them off all together. Whenever he's eating he's smacking and it disgusts me. Even when he's NOT eating he makes that smacking noise with his lips when talking about other people and it really gets on my absolute last nerve. Really Enzo? Polly want a cracker? If you are reading this, listen to the next strategy conversation he's a part of. It'll go something like this.

Hayden: We've got to get Britney out.
Enzo: Yo. We gotta get that bitch outta here man.

And yes, he has said that verbatim. But Ragan and Britney are the only ones that spew venom.

But it's not a perfect world, and I think Matt is smart enough to know that if he picks one of the other Brigade members as a his renom, the chances of him winning the whole game are very slim. I really don't want him to renom Britney. I think his safest bet would be Kathy because he wouldn't be pissing anyone off. Then the Brigade stays intact. And his side alliance with Ragan and Britney stay intact. And HOPEFULLY, Brendon will be walking out that door next Thursday.

Britney, Matt, and Ragan definitely have the brains to go far in this game. And we've already had so many physical comps this season. I want the next few comps to be quizzes so those three can dominate the game. Those are my ideal Final 3.

Last night's show was insane. Rachel asked Ragan if his excuse for being so bitchy was because he was gay. Well Rachel, what's your excuse? And she insinuated that he is not a real man either because he's gay. But ... wait for it ... Rachel LOVES her gays! Rachel I have a strong feeling that once you are back in the real world, people of all sexual orientations will not love you. Oh, but I forget. You've had to fight for your survival in the game. No one else in the house has had to fight. No one else has had to rely on their personal game strategies or alliances to stay in the house. Because they aren't fighting. No one else has had to win POV to make sure that they don't get put up as a renom. Right?

But those fights were definitely good TV. It was the third time I had watched the fights, and each time it got better and better. Ragan was awesome at standing his ground and telling Rachel exactly what she didn't want to hear. When you are pushed and pushed and pushed, you get to a point where you break and snap. I think that is what has happened to Ragan. I've done it before. I've gone off on people like Ragan did. Do I regret it? No. NOT. ONE. WORD. But because Ragan reacts the way he has, that makes him vile and full of venom and poison. So I guess that makes me vile and full of venom and poison. Oh well. If you don't like me, that's fine, don't let the door hit you on the way out. Ragan is at a disadvantage because he's on national television. So people feel free to comment about how vile he is because he has human emotions, never once thinking about how people reading the comments may have been in similar situations as Ragan and reacted similarly. So when you are talking about Ragan that way, then you are talking about me, and other people in the world. And people may say I'm being hypocritical because of the way I've talked about Rachel. The difference is, Rachel was playing a character, she wasn't being herself. She was playing a role. To me, that makes her fair game. I am so thrilled that she is gone, and hopefully gone for good.

Enjoy the show tonight! I'm hoping for some major fireworks!

Bright New Day

Hello people.

So yesterday was a vortex of negative energy. From real life negative stresses, to BB negative stresses. I'm determined to make today a better day.

The first step in that consisted of an uninterrupted night's sleep. All was quiet on the hamster front. Gizmo and Brisby got plenty of zzzz's in last night. So that means PapaSyn did too. There was one moment before I went to bed where Gizmo barely went up to Brisby and Brisby freaked out and squeaked a bit. I think he's suffering from post traumatic stress disorder. Hopefully that will die down as he realizes that Brutus isn't there anymore. I'm cleaning out their home today to get rid of any traces of Brutus' scent. Hopefully that is when the mental healing will begin. The physical healing has already started. The wound on Brisby's stomach is looking much better, in fact it's not even noticeable any more. It's amazing how the animal instinct tells them exactly what must be done.

The next step consisted of checking the blogs to see what has happened in the BB House. Surprisingly the mood has changed in the house. I browsed the comments, and unfortunately, some people's negative mood has not changed. There is still a crusade to book passengers for the Brendon bus. So that let's me know where I won't be today.

In the BB House, I'm not liking what's going on with the Brigade. They are beginning talks of cannibalizing their own, namely Matt and Lane. I seem to remember them encouraging side alliances, and now that seems to be the downfall of Matt and Lane. I really don't like how they have used Matt to do their dirty work and now they are ready to cut him loose. It sucks, but it's the game. And I never ever thought I would be supporting Matt after his lie. But I guess Matt, Ragan, and Britney have been victims of circumstance and have become the true underdogs of this season. Unfortunately the circumstance comes from outside of the house. So I guess I have my favorites for the season now. Which puts me in the minority, only because it seems as if most of their other supporters no longer feel comfortable to come out and say it. I think if I ventured out into the internetverse I'd find more supporters. Ideally I'd like for Lane to branch away from the Brigade and a new four person alliance of Matt, Ragan, Britney, and Lane emerges. Enzo has been pathetic. I hate his strategy of throwing comps and then complaining non-stop about how bad he did. He doesn't deserve to be in the Final 4, and neither does Kathy.

It's odd how the push to bring people to Brendon's side has pushed people right over to Ragan, Britney, and Matt's side. It's so funny how things happen in this world.

I hope anyone reading this is having a good, positive day. I'm ready to leave the negative behind. Friday the 13th doesn't necessarily always have to be unlucky. :D

Out of respect to BBDish, I have deleted the previous post. It just didn't feel right personally. I think we got out what needed to be said. We purged it from our systems and I think we are big enough people to move on from that. *Hugs*

Also, if anyone reading could say a prayer for my sister's eldest step-daughter, Candace. She just had twins today that were taken by c-section because Candace had toxemia and one of the twins had an increased heart rate. The twins were born, one was 5lbs 11oz and one was 4lbs 9oz. One needed oxygen. After the c-section though Candace turned blue and they've called in a cardiologist to check her out. I would appreciate any prayers or positive thoughts sent their way.

Hell Week Part 2

Ugh, I want to ask if this day can get worse, but I know better than to tempt fate that way. But seriously. Thursday, August 12th, 2010, sucks!

Brendon won HOH.

And the hate fueled comments start rolling in. So original. While I'd love to give a rousing "FU!" followed with a certain finger, I'm going to resist that urge.

At least I know that I'll have some me time this week since my commenting duties will be limited.

It's just sad to see "regular" commenters chased off by the handful of hateful commenters.

That is all.

Sad Day :(

Well, today hasn't been a fun day. And this isn't related to Big Brother in the slightest except for it's relation to hamsters.

As I've mentioned a few places, I recently purchased 3 Fancy Russian Dwarf Hamsters. I brought them home on March 30th of this year. When I purchased them they were in the same cage and I observed them for about an hour to make sure that I didn't see any fighting. I was only going to get two of them. But one look at their cute little faces, and I had to have all three. On the way home I heard scuffling in their little cardboard box and heard quite a bit of squeaking. I was assuming that a fight had broken out because of the cramped quarters for three hamsters. When I got home, I quickly got them out so they could get acclimated to their new home. One bit me almost immediately and actually drew blood. I wasn't mad or anything, because I knew that they were stressed.

So, then I set about naming them. I knew that one was going to be Gizmo since "The Gremlins" was one of my favorite childhood movies. Another childhood favorite was "The Secret of Nimh". The Secret of Nimh is about a colony of genius rats that help move a widowed field mouse and her children from the fields that are being harvested to a safer part of the farm. The widowed field mouse was named Mrs. Brisby. And one of the guardians of the rat colony was named Brutus. So from that I had my three names picked, Gizmo, Brisby, and Brutus. The grey hamster immediately displayed signs of personality, therefore, he became Gizmo. After the biting incident, it was a no-brainer that the biter would be called Brutus. And finally, the smaller of the three was named Brisby.

Then began the fun, or so I thought. I was observing how they interacted with each other and I noticed that Brutus seemed to bully Brisby a bit. Nothing serious, just some squeaking arguments and brief boxing matches. They separated and went about their happy ways. After a few weeks these spats became fewer and fewer to the point where I didn't even see or hear them fight anymore.

A few months passed and all three had grown quite a bit since I had gotten them. Brisby, once the smallest, is now the largest. They all pack their jaw pouches full of food at feeding time. Things had been going pretty well until a few nights ago. A very loud argument literally woke me up as Brutus and Brisby had engaged in some sort of fight. Brisby is extremely vocal and will squeak loudly and fight until Brutus backed down. I thought it odd, but I let it go. The next night it happened again. Finally this morning, I was woken up at 630a after about three hours of sleep by the most serious fight yet. First, I was angry because I had had so little sleep. I tried to shrug off until another fight broke out. So I got Brutus out and put him in the smaller container I use for when I am cleaning out their home. I was hoping it might have been a sort of "Time Out" for Brutus. After about twenty minutes I decided to reintroduce him to the tank. He immediately began hunting for Brisby, all the while Brisby was scurrying trying to find a safer area. At this point I got Brisby out and put him in the smaller container. As I was looking at him closer I noticed a wound on his stomach. Then one near his ear. Then one on his back. Then another one on his mouth. It made me sick to think that I had not intervened sooner and Brisby had suffered all these injuries.

I was then left with a decision to make. One of the two had to go. Gizmo has always been passive and chill. But it was my fear that if Brutus remained, he would begin targeting Gizmo if Brisby was no longer there. My decision was almost made for me. But I was still struggling with it. My next dilemma came when I didn't know where I could take whichever one I decided to let go. I don't have room or another cage or tank that I could put one in. I tried to lie back down and get some sleep, but my mind and this decision wouldn't let me. I prayed that I would somehow make the right decision. So I waited until the pet store opened up and I gave them a call. I explained what the situation was and they said they would take one back and adopt him out. Since I feared for what would happen with Gizmo, I decided that the only choice was to return Brutus. So I put him in the pet container that I brought him home in and went to the pet store and turned him over.

It's really depressing because I had become attached to all three of them and their individual personality quirks in the four months that I had had them. If there is anything good about this, I did receive a bit of a sign when I returned home. And I do believe in signs, and I think this was God's way of letting me know that I had made the right decision. Underneath the door, I noticed that someone had stuck some sort of pamphlet. Enblazoned across the front of the pamphlet in bold letters read "Life in a Peaceful New World". It was a pamphlet from a Jehovah's Witness. I am hoping that for my remaining hamsters, Gizmo and Brisby, that it will indeed be a peaceful new world for them. I know little about this religion, but I'm grateful for the literature because of how it came at exactly the right time. I feel like this is going to help me come to terms with the decision. I am just going to hold on to the hope that Brutus will find a good home.

Anyway, I just wanted to share this with someone, and just get it off my chest. I'll leave you with some pictures of the first day that I brought these little guys home.

This is Gizmo and Brutus. Gizmo is the gray one, and Brutus is in the tube.

And this is Brisby.
